A lot of the article is well-said and true, and a lot of it is misleading. My comment is about Americans, though, not Israelis or Palestinians.
Based on articles here over the last ten years, McConnell apparently wants the TAC, and by extension American conservatives, to actively identify with the Zionist left. (The article cited here is from a left-Zionist perspective.) It’s reminiscent of Chronicles, with its pro-Serbian activism. The Serbians for Thomas Fleming; the Palestinians for Scott McConnell.
I can’t for the life of me understand why an ostensibly non-interventionist conservative persuasion feels the need to stick its nose into such international conflicts and to take sides in local fights halfway around the world.
